curious & confused?

   I have been on birth control pills for about 3 years and last month I stopped taking them. According to my chart I was supposed to have received my period this monday 10/22, i took pregnancy test on 10/23 & it was negative, then i took another one yesterday 10/25, it was still negative. I went & bought more exams today. When should I try testing again before I make appt with a doctor? Is it normal? could it be that my system is all messed up because I just stopped taking birth control pills 1 1/2 month ago?
please help.

with just coming off of birth control u won't really really know when ur period is coming right away. it usually takes a few months maybe 2 or 3 before it can straighten itself out again. i would wait another week and then test. then if u still haven't had ur period or a positive test then i'd check with the dr.
