so what are my chances of getting pregnant five months off the depo shot ? between them five months i only had one period which was july 22 2012and had no more since  , i'm still taking the prenatal vitamins my doc gave me but i dont take thm everyday, on september 23 my bf came inside of me

We found out were expecting after 6 months of coming off the depo provera

I was on depo for 3 years and as soon as I missed the shot I had a period and then I was pregnant. After I had my son I immediately got the shot again then stop taking it I had irregular periods and then I bled none stop for 6 months. Never getting depo again!!!

Oh and my period returned after the 3 month shot wore off... But the medicine still stays in your system.. it stores its self in your cells

I got the shot twice when I was 17 and I just was finally able to concive march of this year and I'm 21 now

yeah i heard the same thing but i was taking the depo shot for like 10months or more but missed about 3 injections than didnt take it since feb 23 2012 which was my last injection

When I was taking depo I was told it could take a long time to get pregnant once you stopped taking the shots, but it depended how long you were on it to begin with. I had heard some women taking a year or two to get pregnant after long term use of the shot.
