decrease movement at 27 weeks??

I'm 27 weeks pregnant.  I have been feeling the baby move for a long time now.  (since like, 15 - 16 weeks)
The movements had been REALLY strong up until about 2 days ago.  The kicks were jolting & VERY often.
The  The movements are not the same as they were. last 2 days she has been moving a lot less.  I still feel her move at diferrent times throughout the day, but it is not very frequent & very light movements.

I have had a cold & been really sick the last couple of days.  I have taken medicine, but only one dose a day for the last 3 days.  Should I be concerned?

Hi! Just wanted to say the same as Beccabb..... Im 29 wks and since about 27-28 wks, his movements have been more so twitches, turns, sticking tushie out,..... no more actual rythmic "kicking" that your refering too. At first I was worried, but from what Im reading I think its the norm. They dont have as much space to stretch out their legs anymore.

I think it's normal mine moves more the kicks now stopped about the same time, I get maybe a kick once a day the rest is just wriggles n feels like twitches lol, as long as your getting movements everyday my Midwife says 10 a day but everyone differs then I'd say baby is fine me probably just rubbing out of room to stretch the legs out n stuff

I think you should be concerned if you haven't felt her at all.  Sometimes they get in different positions and you don't feel them as much, or they just aren't as active.  I've had spurts like that with this one - I am 25 weeks today.  Mine is usually more active at night, so I look forward to watching my belly bounce all around when I'm laying in bed, but every so often she doesn't move as much.  I think you're alright as long as you feel something going on in there.  It may also have to do with you being sick & on medicine - I'm not really sure though - I hope you feel better soon!
