depo and pregnant?

i had my first depo shot 12 weeks prior to oct 25th. i was suppose to go back for my second one, but i haven't yet because i had a home pregnancy test come up positive. i have one child already but i never experienced any symptoms with her. i have been having headaches, stomach cramps, pain and cramps in my lower legs, and nausea. also my stomach is starting to swell. in august they tested me to make sure i was not pregnant and i wasnt. how possible is it to have gotten pregnant after the shot? will it hurt the baby if so?
