I've delt with depression my entire teenage years. It doesnt seem like it would, but talking to someone you love and trust (like your husband) really does help. At least as much as crying it out. Same thing with food/self image happened with me too. I would never intentionally starve myself, but at times I just didn't want to eat. Either it was tedious or disgusting, or both. I'm better now, but I've always just tried to power through it, mind over matter as long as you aren't thinking of hurting yourself or others try just talking it out before resorting to meds.(they never worked for me.) If things get unbearable(or already are), then definately talk to your doctor about it and he/she might set up therapy or meds or both. Good luck, feel better
This definitely is post partum depression. It's completely normal and many women go through it. You are a good mom but you need a Lil help in the emotional hormonal department and that's ok. Please speak with your Dr about this because you don't have to be feeling this way. Your going to be ok and you will feel better and not so numb. Best wishes sweetie.
As you're finding, depressive episodes aren't about being sad or feeling sorry for yourself, but are about being dampened. They are chemical changes in the body, like, for example, getting a migraine. You've described the classic symptoms of post-partum depression, and the good news is that it is understood and is treatable. See your doc, he can help you a lot, and you'll feel like normal again. Call tomorrow and set up an appointment.
Maybe u should consult with your doctor its normal how ur feeling after having a baby but u should let ur doctor know immediately
