I found out today that I will be diabetic after I have my baby :( anyone else diabetic? If I diet and stuff and take my medication will my baby be okay.
I had GD with my first and developed type 2 diabetes shortly after so I'm pretty existing diabetes with this pregnancy.
Were you diabetic before you got pregnant? You could have gestational diabetes which usually goes away after you give birth. I don't know how the dr would know if you would be diabetic after you give birth if you weren't before.

I'm diabetic. You manage it the baby will be fine!! My girls are healthy as can be and I was diabetic both times.
