If you want dr advise go to the ask doctor forum and you can get a reply from a dr. Antidepressants are used with patients who are schizophrenic however the main treatment is antipsychotic medication. It is NOT safe to not take your medication. Please speak with both your psychiatrist and OB/gyno about wanting to concieve prior to conception so you can have a healthy pregnancy for both you and baby. Good luck!

rispiredone is an antipschotic and is considered preganncy category C which means it CAN cause problems with the baby.  I don't know about any other drug.  My best advice for you is to consult your physician IMMEDIATELY.  There may be safer alternative meds you can take for the duration of the pregnancy.

The best thing to do with ANY medication you are taking and trying to or are pregnant you should always consult your doctor, although they can perscribe AntiDepressants in pregnancy and it be okay (my step mum was on them throughout all 6 pregnancies) Doctors should always be consulted. Thats the best thing to doo :)

Good Luck

No one here is a medical professional, these are really things you need to discuss with your doctor. We can give you advice but we can not tell you for sure what these medications will do in your situation.
