I just switched to decaff tea
Is it okay to drink lipton hot tea?
Decaf ONLY.
Caffiene can cause misscarriages.
So that means cut back on soda, or anything like that.
Coffee... lots of teas... some juices even.
You can still drink them, but my doc told me if I were to drink them, I can only choose one of those caffiene drinks, and only drink it ONCE a day.
But I drank alot of sweat teas and sodas when I first got pregnant, and I have a healthy baby so far!
But I do stick to what the doctor says, I either get one glass of sweet tea a day, or one glass of my beloved Orange or Grape soda a day. lol.
I heard the Arizona teas are okay though?
I dunno if you've ever heard of Arizona tea before... but you can find them pretty much at any gas station in the fridges... they come in different size bottles.
I LOVE Sleepytime tea! It helps me relax at night and it barely needs sweetened.
but anyway, i think they are all pretty much ok as long as they aren't caffinated and even if they are just don't drink them alllllll day. It's all about moderation.
I will sometimes have a cup of coffee because I love gas station cappuccino out of the machine thing. I mix the french vanilla with hot chocolate about half of each in the small cup but I send my boyfriend into the store to get it for me because I'm scared that someday a stranger will yell at me....
thanks for the input ladies!! you're the best!
Oops I meant "Sleepytime Tea"
My doctor said all DECAF teas are fine and great for you! I know there are lots of benefits from drinking Green Tea but I would get Decaf. So I think their all fine as long as their not Caffeinated.
There is this Tea that Celestial Seasonings make thats called "Sleeptime Tea" and it's wonderful for Pregnant woman. My best friends sister is 5 months Pregnant and was having trouble sleeping so her doctor recommended it and she said she loves the Tea and it helps her sleep. Next time I food shop I'm gonna pick some up myself!
Hi,
I drink regular old Lipton tea, I asked my dr if it was okay and she said it was fine but no more than 2 cups of tea a day.
when are you due?
I hope it helps

My doctor's office recommends ginger or chamomile tea for morning sickness. I got the kinds without caffeine. They didn't help me much, though, so I only drank a cup or two. I have read that teas and coffees aren't recommended so much for bladder infections and I've had a couple of uti scares since I've been pregnant so I have cut tea out altogether now.
