When I said I tried everything I mean everything :/ Aveeno, Eucerin, Johnson's baby lotion, Vasoline, even Neasopren :/ I drink tons and tons of water each day because I'm not a fan of sodas. It just bugs me because it's not only painful it's not very pretty haveing blotches of red flakey skin all over my face... I've even had lotion perscribed from my doctor with no luck :(

Eucerin is good, the cream, and is usually what the doctor recommends...I have exzema (patches of really dry, cracking skin) and it's always been good for me when it's flaring up. Also Avon's skin-so-soft hand cream, I use it on any little patch even when it's not on my hands.

It might sound funny but I've used many different things & the most effective has been vaseline , believe it or not. Try it & let me know how you make out.

Pregnancy hormones bring about huge changes to almost every part of your body. Dry skin during pregnancy is usually brought on by a loss of bodily fluids. That’s because your body is sucking you dry so that it can provide all the necessary hydration for your baby’s development.

Because your need for bodily fluids are increasing so much, it is almost impossible to keep up, meaning your skin is dehydrating. So make sure you’re drinking plenty of water at least 8 glasses a day.

Rinse your face twice daily with a gentle cleanser specially for dry skin. Soaps removes natural oils from the skin, so try using a moisturizing body wash. This will maintain the essential oils for your skin. For extremely dry skin, try using a mechanical exfoliate once a week to get rid of any flaking skin.

When moisturizing choose an emollient moisturizer and don’t forget sun block, not only will sun exposure worsen dry skin, it will also put you at risk for skin cancer. If you are experiencing itchy skin due to dryness, don’t use anti-itch ointments.  They usually contain cortisone or hydrocortisone.  Also, avoid Salicylic acid, Beta hydroxy acid and BHA.

It hope this helps...
