experiment, debunking a myth maybe!

Hi gals just wanted to check something and maybe debunk a myth. If you remember please add your age at the time you found out you were preggo and the month of conception. According to the myth, if it was an even number it's a girl, and odd a boy. I have tried it with mine they are right on the money. Wanna hear yours!!

I was 27 when I conceived and it was in July, so 27+7=34.....we had a boy!! Debunked:)

I was 28 and conceived in March...28 + 3 = 31 -  Accurate!  Cool! :-)

I was 21 and October...so 12 and 10 is 31. Odd. Now 13 months later i have a happy baby boy. So it was right.

Nicholas  was 29 and conceived in Feb= 31  accurate

chinese calendars were correct for me too.

Cooper: I was 26 and conceived in Oct = 36 we had a boy!!!!     Debunked
Cruz: I was 27 and conceived in Nov = 38 we had a boy!!!!!        Debunked

Guess I am out of the norm!!!!!!

I was 19 and conceived in August = 27 = we had a girl!   Debunked

I was 21 and conceived in July = 28 = we had a girl!     Accurate

I was 23 and conceived in February = 25 = we're having another girl!    Debunked

-however, according to the chinese calendar I was supposed to have a girl.  And the chinese calendar goes by your age and month you conceived.

I was 24 when I conceived and I conceived in May, so 24+5=29.....and I have a daughter now.  Debunked!

Hmmmm....I was 26 when I got pregnant AND son was conceived in July...7+26=33...Odd number and I had a boy!

For my first son, I got an odd number.
With this pregnancy, I also got an odd number. I won't find out the sex for another 4-6 weeks. According to the Chinese lunar calandar, it's supposed to be a girl, and accoding to a few old wives' tales, those also predicted a girl while I was in my first trimester. However, some of those old wives' tales are predicting boy in my second trimester.
I'll be happy either way, but I can't wait to find out!

yes you are suppose to add the age at the time of conception plus the month you conceived...lol...I have 10wks to go too to find out what this one is, the other were right on though...lol...

I'm assuming I was supposed to add the #'s together?? age + month of conception?? If not then I did it backwards and it was right on! LOL

With my first I was 15 and conceived in April (so odd #'s) and she is a GIRL!! With my second I was 25 and conceived in May (so even #'s) and he's a BOY!! LOL! Guess I'm backwards!! This one I was 27 and conceived in June... (so odd #'s again)... only 10 weeks and not sure we want to find out yet...
Unless... My LMP was the month before conception with both Pg's... I started in late March with the first (conceived in Apr) and in late Apr with my second (conceived in May) so if you go by LMP date instead of conception date... then I'm dead on with both too!!
