extreme emergency

hi everyone,

i'll lay out the timeline first:
Day 1-2: gf and i had unprotected sex but i withdrew
Day 3: we took plan b
Day 9: she had bleeding which we think was a period (which should mark Day 1 of her Cycle)

Day 41 (almost 6 weeks) or Day 33 (almost 5 weeks) of her Cycle: she experiences spotting-like bleeding

Day 43 or Day 35 (5 weeks) of her Cycle: she experiences really bad cramps and takes alleve and starts bleeding that day, which she says is her period.

----

we're not very knowledgeable about this stuff and so that's why i'm posting. i'm pretty sure we have nothing to worry about. but we're still in college and i'm just really worried and definitely not ready for anything like this yet.

can you please help?

thanks.

Your girlfriend can take a pregnancy test to rule out (or in) pregnancy.  Thats the only way you wil; be able to find out what is going on.

I just want to say one thing first, If you do not want a baby, use both a Birth Control and a condom! The Pull out method doesnt work always, trust me! I became pregnant on it, Whilst I was on the pill, my partner is allergic to condoms, I made him prove it! But its always best to use both if you dont want a baby, or dont have sex.

Anyways... It has been 2 weeks since you had sex I am guess, so a pregnancy test will give her a result to whether she is pregnant or not!

AND the Plan B pill can SERIOUSLY screw up your girl friends body, so it really shouldnt be used as a form of BC or at all really.... Because it can damage her body, and thats probably what caused her to bleed. And Doesnt always prevent pregnancy either!

Buy a test and tell her to take it with First Morning Urine and she will get a result by now

All i can suggest is that if you are worried about pregnancy that it would be best to take a home pregnancy test or a blood test at the doctors to confirm.

I would assume that since it was only day 1-2 of her cycle that she would not be pregnant. a woman generally ovulates around day 14 of her cycle so you would need to be having unprotected sex around this time in her cycle for her to fall pregnant. Please note that everyones cycles are different and ovulate on different days. If you are trying to avoid pregnancy you should be using condoms and she should look at going on the pill.

Plan B can really mess up a woman cycle.  A pregnancy test should be accurate by now, but it seems like you should be in the clear.  You two should probablly figure out a more reiable form of Birth Control becasue withdrawal is not very effective.  Best of luck!
