Hi when I was pregnant with my second (my son) I fainted a lot. They did all kinds of test on my heart every thing. Its dangerous to faint if she is alone and hits her head or something so she should keep someone with her. Drink a lot of water..... I mean a lot! They never did find out what was wrong with me. I have a healthy son who will be 2 in June! Thats all my doc could say is plenty of water, OJ helps some. Stay hydrated is very important! If you see her with out a bottle of water get her one. She needs it. She def. needs to talk about it with her doc. Good luck!
I think they could if it gets out of hand. I am not sure. Soooo just for safety of the baby...she should maybe mention getting her iron checked...or maybe her sugar.
she saw her doctor and he suggested that she stay more hydrated and she has to eat like 2 bananas a day. but after that she still had another spell maybe she needs something more, like a supplement. when you faint besides the falling how does that effect the health of the baby? do they lose oxygen during this?
Oh these ladies def. had good points. Maybe she is anemic!
I used to faint a lot...and than when I was pregnant I fainted once...I was very anemic, but my doctor also told me that I wasn't eating enough sugar or drinking enough water so my body would give out on me. Especially when you're pregnant, it's really important to drink water and make sure your body has enough sugar for energy. If your sugar level drops you will faint or almost faint and thats not good! Have your sis talk with her doctor and make sure she's getting enough sugars, proteins and water.
Maybe its her iron. When I was pregnant with my first I was always on my feet going to school for cosmetology, and I would faint CONSTANTLY on my clients. I was anemic (sp?). So I had to take an iron supplement. But she should def. see a doctor. Hope I helped.
My sister fainted at a restaurant when pregnant. She was dehydrated. She really needs to speak with her OBGYN and see if that is the reason or if it is something neurological.
