false positive?

So I have taken two home pregnancy tests and they both have a light line but it reads as positive. I am scheduled to take a blood test tomorrow ... how often do home pregnancy tests give off a false positive result?

When I was pregnant with my son I had a very faint line, I tested a few days later and it was a lot darker...a definite positive. My second pregnancy I also got a faint line, but a few days later there was no line at all anymore. My doctor told me I had a chemical pregnancy (a very early miscarriage). Ur probably just very early and don't have enough hormone built up in u yet. Test in 2-3 days and its probably a dark line.

My doctors believe they are more reliable than the tests they do!! I never got bloods or urine when i first found out and im now 37 weeks :)

False positives are very rare and usually only occur with a hormonal imbalance so congratulations lol

I agree they are pretty accurate & if is light line positive u are probably pregnant
