i am currently not on any form of birth control. recently i had sex and the condom broke--within 24hrs i took the generic brand of plan B. and now not even a week later i am spotting w/ mild cramps. my period is not due again until the 5th of September. i checked the ovulation calculator and at the time the condom broke i was fertile and my best date to get pregnant was only two days away! spotting is not normal for me between periods. could i be pregnant?

Thank you so much for all of the responses. I am sure you all are right. It really just seems that the pill caused my period to come on earlier. But that is fine with me! Thanks again :)

i also dont think that your pregnant its just the plan b it is causing bleeding .

I dont think your pregnant i think its just the plan b related bleeding.. i had the same and like nickie said the earlier you took the plan b the more effective it will be :-)

With plan b there is a very high chance of break through bleeding, although plan b is not 100% but the earlier you take it after the condom broke the better chance is that it will work like it is supposed to. Good luck!
