first scan tomorrow, nervous and scared

I have my first scan tomorrow to see if my baby is ok, throughout my whole pregnancy i have been worried about losing the baby or going to scan and finding no heartbeat. Just cant imagine the thought of being told theres no heartbeat and its constantly on my mind now my scan has finally came. Did or does anyone else feel like this and is it normal? i thought scans were meant to be exciting, not for me though
