flu shot before pregnancy

My husband and I are trying to get pregnant again. I just got my flu shot. I'm not pregnant yet but would like to try again this month. Is it okay to try even though I just got it. how long should I wait?
I didn't realize you could get a "preservative free" one. I never did before. I had a flu shot when I was pregnant last time and we have a healthy 2 year old. Just nervous and confused on reading online now!

i just got my flu shot last week and i told the nurse about the possibility of being pregnant, she said it was fine to take one. they would only have given me a different type of flu shot if i was actually pregnant.

From what I have heard - doctors recommend that you get a flu shot if you are pregnant.  It should have no affect on you becoming pregnant.  Good luck!
