thanks for all your replies, that's def reassuring i'll double check with my ob but thanks so much.
I asked my OB and she said to get it for sure. I am a teacher and have gotten one every year, so I am glad that I am getting one this year too.
HONEY! Where have you been?!?!?!
well i work as a medical assitant and we don't give any pregnant women in ther first trimestert the flu shot at all. and then children under the age of 2 we don't give to them either. so i would strongly urge you not to get the flu shot until your second and thrid trimetster. best wishes. ladies.
My doctor told me she strongly suggests I get it, and that was at my first appointment in August. So I definitely will be getting it, even though I haven't had one in years. :)
You should be first in line. Normally when the makers of flu vaccine make the vaccines, they don't always make enough. So the elderly, children, and pregnant women are on the top of the list to receive it!
Yes... pregnant women and elderly people are the two groups that are susceptible to the flu. So, it is highly encouraged that these two groups get the flu shot. I am getting mine once CVS or Walgreens has their clinic :)
thank god lol bc some one i work with was freaking out telling me i couldn't have it while pregnant so i was just wondering since i tend to get sick alot.
I just asked my obgyn this at my appointment a week ago and he said absolutely get it...he didn't even hesitate. I'm 9 weeks.
