for all of you who had before ectopic pregnancy PLEASE READ

Question

I'm breastfeeding my 5 months old baby girl and also using the mini-pill as B/C, but i didn't have period for about 10 weeks now (my last period was Jan 1st 2010). I have been feel this cramps/sharp kind of pain in my right side for about 4 hours now and the pain is more stronger when i stand up. I'm worried if this is kind of related to ectopic pregnancy? Please anyone out there who had somthing similar help me.

Most likely if you took HPT's and they were negative then it's not ectopic.  An ectopic should still show up as a pos. hpt.  What you could be experience is ovulation pain.  Since it has been so long since you had a normal cycle your body may be having a hard time releasing the egg hence the pain.  I went 64 days with no period over this past summer and the same thing happened to me.  I finally started a couple weeks later.  Like tarajanes said though if you are in bad pain go get seen.

For me I had really bad shoulder  tip  pain along with the cramping.it was only as we were under going treatment,and i started to bleed that i was scanned and found out it was a tubal pregnancy,at 4-5 weeks gone.the pain was unbearable.we did get positive tests.im sure this isnt what your experiencing.I see your in the uk like myself.you can take yourself up to A+E if you are in alot of pain.they will see you.

I can't get hold of my Dr till next week Monday. I did about 7 HP tests and all were BFN 
 :(

It would be better for yoy to contact your doctor,it could be many things,maybe your ovulating,i experienced an eptopic few years ago. as very painful but i experienced other symptoms also,have you taken a pregnancy test.
