ftm 38 weeks castrol oil

So I'm a ftm I'm currently 38 weeks and at my check up the Dr told me baby is ready to come I literally get NO sleep , I can't eat , and I can't even sit without feeling uncomfortable and can't breathe and on top of that I'm beyond stressed.  So I decided to try castrol oil ( IF YOU HAVE ANYTHING NEGATIVE TO SAY PLEASE JUST KEEP IT TO YOURSELF ) I drank 2 tbsp mixed with tang at about 330 let's hope this works .. Anybody try this around 38 weeks and had a successful out come ?

ericatoday theirs nothing negative bout what I put and you don't know that I'm not arguing nothing thinks wrong with wha I put being honest on how I feel and the story's that are told by women that have been threw the most horrible thing with taking it its better to warn people then not let them no but its not like I'm being horrible am I no thanks all the best

Worked great for me. I took 2 tbsp on my due date and didn't mix it with anything, went into labor a couple hours later.

I hope it works for you! It didn't work for me :( I'm 38 weeks + 4 days and took 2 tablespoons with 6 oz of orange juice three times, once every 6 hours but it didn't cause any contractions or even work as a normal laxative, so I just figured my body doesn't react to castor oil normally so I stopped taking it today (too nasty to take if it doesn't help me) Good luck!!

She said if you have nothing positive not to say it. Castor oil doesn't cause any health risk to your baby.


I took it at 8pm and 11pm tbsp each at 37+6 I had my son at 38 weeks at 11:23 am

Me personally wouldnt risk taking that as I've heard storys of people loosing their babys and wha not I'm having a sweep done a week on monday the 29th decemeber I'll be 38weeks and 1day I've lost 3 babys but I'm now expecting my 4th  I gave birth to my 2 girls at 23weeks my first baby and then missed miscarriage  and then I lost my baby girl in 2013 November sat 21weeks and 6days but now I've got a healthy baby girl who will soon be here xx good luck hun I'll pray for you x

I've read that it's kind of a state of mind type thing.... with any home induction method. If you believe it it will work and if not it won't! Good luck!!

I've heard it doesn't really work just causes problems.. but you know what nothing is going to work if your body or baby isn't ready. But good luck

Its been about an hour and some contractions , no bowels , and baby is moving a lot

I tried it but it didn't work, although I know people it did work for. I heard its more effective with oj or pineaple juice.
