You can BF even while you are pregnant. I believe they call it Tandem Breastfeeding? You can contact the La Leche League and speak with someone about it!

OBGYNs usually want you to wait a year or two before trying for another baby because of how much a pregnancy can deplete your vitamin and mineral stores. So begin taking a prenatal again, if you've stopped. And if your OB is on board, I don't see why you can't go for it!

Many doctors recommend that you stop breast feeding before you begin TTC again.  I don't know if this is due to the amount of hormones that are being released when you breastfeed or if it is for psychological reasons that they recommend this, but either way, you might want to take this into consideration.  This is probably a discussion that you should have with your OB since they would know best!  Good luck and congrats on baby #1!

i had a friend who BF'd and was on the mini pill.....she missed a few one month, then she'd take em all right for a month and then the 3rd month miss a few more(intentionally b/c of the BF'ing), and got pregnant....may  not work for everyone but it def worked for her both times(she did it after 1st and 2nd babies, so she did it twice).....
