glucose test

I hear soo many oeople dont pass the firstb one which I didnt and have to go back for 3 hr one...is it necassary I would hate for anything to happen but 3 hrs and no eating before im gina be miserable

I also failed my first one and then passed my 3 hr. it sucked not eating but it needed to be done especially since diabetes runs in my mothers side

I failed my first one my last pregnancy but the worst part is I had my doc tell me I might have diabetes!!! It runs in my family n that made me stress it even more ,thank god when I got retested it came back normal

Its not that bad I failed the one hr and passed the 3 hr. I wouldn't want to go on a strict diet if I didn't have to so I would say just take the test u definitely can't ignore it. Just go early in the morning and bring something to do and it flys by.

Depending on your numbers from your first one,  you might be able to  talk to your doctor about going straight to being treated for gestational diabetes without a 3 hour confirmation test.  That would involve a very strict no-sugar diet and weekly blood tests through finger prick to monitor your blood sugar levels.  

If you're asking can you just ignore failing the first test and go on as before,  no,  that's not a good idea.
