I got pregnant by having sex on CD10 thinking I was still safe because I have a 28 day cycle. Ended in m/c at 12 wks though. I'm trying now and we BD'd on CD11 and 13 and I o'd on 15 so hopefully his swimmers were there waiting. Only 10 more days till I test

Since I was charting etc. I know exactly when we did the deed and I ovulated...for us, it was 2 days before ovulation AND I did in fact get pregnant and felt implantation (or something ) 4dpo...

The chances of getting pregnant are actually the HIGHEST if you have sex 1-2 days BEFORE you ovulate.

It is possible to get pregnant because your partner's little swimmers can live in the body for up to 5 days. So even though you don't ovulate for couple days, his swimmers are there waiting. It is actually preferred to do it a couple of days before so they are waiting. :) Good luck. You will still need to wait for about 14 days past ovulation to get an accurate test, though. (some have gotten an earlier bfp, but most don't until around 14dpo.)

the reason im asking this question is because i ovulate on the 19th im always on time with my ovulation.
but the thing is me and my partner had sex this morning sorry tmi which is 2 days before ovulation so is there a chance of getting pregnant 2 days before ovulation i know i wont find out for another few weeks but i thought i would ask just to see if anyone else has got a bfp from havingsex before ovulation
