have you tried drinking a big glass of juice and laying on your side? if this doesnt produce any movement I would maybe give the dr. a call. I am 28 weeks and there are days when i dont feel my baby move much...but the juice trick usually always works.
hmmm. i've tried the juice and the cold bag thing and it didint work. im kinda sad like c'mon baby move just alittle.ya know. but then i asked my sister who is also pregnant and she says the baby sometimes just needs rest. but im freaken out. i guess ill wait it out and hopefully he moves. if not im gonna go to the doc tomorrow or er tonight even though i went to the dr. on fri and i feel stupid going in again after two days ugh. hes probably tired of seing me.
oops... i didn't read the question right! i thought you said you hadn't felt him move at all up until now. if you've been feeling him move before now and he just hasn't moved today, then if you're worried i would call. it would be too early to do a kick count though. my doc told me at this time that the baby does not have a routine for movement yet and that he wouldn't be worried. but always, if you are worried then call your doc!
This happens to me too.. Have you been more active today than usual?? I notice that when im out and about during the day I tend to feel baby move less because Im not really focusing on feeling him move and then I get worried about it and try to feel him move and he still wont.. I feel him move the most at night or late afternoon when Im at work sitting and have nothing to think about or do.. Was he really active yesterday? because that also happens to me where baby will be doing the olympics in there one day and then the next time I dont feel him at all.. Maybe one time.. Sometimes babies need a rest and somedays they just dont feel like moving around too much in there.. I wouldnt be too worried but if you need to set your mind at ease you could always call or go in.. They will check babies heart for you and it will make you feel better.. Usually when I dont feel movement for a day I just wait until the next afternoon.. and I always feel him move before I decide to go in.. Try not to worry too much Im sure he will be fine, but at the same time I know thats hard to do. Go in if it will make you feel better.
If I were you I would lay down and take it easy for a while and really pay attention to any movement. My baby is not active when I am active but as soon as I lay down to rest she is all over the place. I would carefully monitor it and if no movement in a few hours I would call your doctor. Remember the babies do have sleep time in the belly and maybe your baby is just snoozing. Keep us updated. Good luck.
thanks guys i guess everyone was right...sometimes the baby does need rest, and yeah i was running around doing things all day yesterday so thats probably why. however i just felt him move a while ago so i feel so much better now...;)
