he is here

My little man keegan made his appearance today at 216pm. My water broke Friday night at around 8. I tried my hardest to do it without an epidural but I just couldnt. The contractions were non stop and my back was killing me because I had to be on my sides at all times because minutes after laying on my back the babies heartrate dropped. I caved and got an epidural at 5cm. I didn't have to get any pitocin at all.and I pushed for about an hour. The nurses have him right now so I can sleep cuz I didn't sleep at all during labor or at all after he was born. He was 6lbs 15ounces and 20 inches long and looks just like his daddy

I'm sitting here waiting for my man to get back with the car seat and for the Dr to show up and tell me I can go. And then I'm more than ready to go home.

I gave in and let the nurses take him most of the night so we could sleep. I had been up way too long and was drifting off while he was in my arms so I am letting them do their jobs. He was fussy after feedings so that was not helping.
