heart rate question..

So i went in for my first ultrasound appointment.. an i'm 11w 6d , and she said the heart rate was 115.. i think. An said its normal? Im scared of mc.. but am i in danger of it right now?  :'( this is my first baby

Drink some orange juice before going in :0) I heard that gets them going too! :)

I always heard that it starts out slower too and then gets quicker. An appt next week does sound like a good idea just to put your mind at ease. Thats whats most imprtant is that you are not stressing. But again if dr is not concerned then you shouldnt be either.

That sounds like a good idea :) and yes just what Factorymomma said babies have resting times as well where the heartrate goes down... take care!

If they were not concerned about it and said it was normal i wouldnt worry... and yes the normal range is 120-200 but there isnt a set rule that say the 5 beats under means your doomed? baby is just slightly under the "normal"... and chances are everytime you go its gonna change as well... again if there was any concern they wouldnt tell you it was fine... so no you not in danger of MCing... your babies heart rate must have sounded normal with a normal pattern... if you are concerned make an appointment with your Dr and talk it over for reasurrance but try not to stress over this as thats not good for you or baby... congrats on your pregnancy! take care, and try not to stress...

Trust your ob, babies have periods of rest and activity in the womb as well as after birth.  In these periods of rest their heart rate well be lower.  
Same as when a baby/child/adult is taking a snooze. :-)

Because the heart rate seems low i read ladies had m/c when the heart rate was below 120 bpm
