I get it all the time too, even when I dont eat anything I still get it. I went through about 6 big bottles of tums already.. I heard about the baking soda too, but I rather eat tums then drink baking soda. And someone told me if you eat a spoonful of mustard it goes away, but I can't stand the taste of mustard so there's no way I'm gonna try it.

I get it too it.feels.like the foods right there.in your.throat.and.it tastes.gross sometimes it hurts and makes me.feel.like I'm gonna throw up! I haven't found anything that's helped ME :(
Try a teaspoon of Baking soda with a cup or two of water. I haven't tried it, but the people I know that has tried it said it works. My gma is the one who told me to try it when I have horrid heartburn, but I'm scared of it tasting bad. I gave this advice to someone else on this website the other day and they said it made them burp a lot, but they felt so much better and she said the taste wasn't too terrible.
i had heart burn too until i stopped drinking liquids with my food. you could try drinking before or after a meal instead of with the meal. i know it worked for me, might be worth a try.
if not you can use tums too.
