Hello,
If you got your period, then you are not pregnant. But you have to make sure that is a period and not something else.
I had a miscarriage and I did not know until 3 days after when I started cramping very painful and I went to the ER, so they told me I was having a miscarriage it was very sad, since we were trying to conceive but I am not regular on my period.

If you are regular, and you got your period when you suppose to get it, and you are not in pain, I guess you are not pregnant. But, I have read in other places that sometimes they get a period and after a week or so they found they were pregnant, weird but true!

Good Luck to You!

Its impossible to be pregnant if you have a true period as a true period is the shedding of the uterus lining so it would shed where implantation has occured... there are other types of bleeding however that can occur in early pregnancy but if the flow was heavy or the same as your normal period then most likely it was your period...

Breakthough bleeding can occur at the times when your period would have been due... 4, 8, 12 weeks...usually for only the first 3 or so months as your hormones may not be strong enough to stop the bleeding yet but its not a true period as it doesnt shed the whole uterine lining(or it would end in MC)... and usually stops when the placenta takes over hormone production from the ovaries(3 or so months) but in some woman its possible to have breakthrough bleeding the whole pregnancy... when this occurs its usually under very close monitoring by the Dr...

There are also other types of bleeding that can occur during pregnancy... but i think this should give you the answers your looking for??
