You should take it as your reproductive endocrinologist prescribes it.

If you are having troubles with your cycle, you should talk to your doctor about getting in touch with a reproductive endocrinologist to perform the tests necessary to determine if you are a candidate for clomid.

you should really talk with your doctor about this. If you have not seen AF yet you willl need to have one before starting clomid. Clomid can be taken cd2-6 3-7 4-8 or 5-9. First rounds of clomid should not be more than 50mg. Clomid cause your endo lining to become thin therefore not being able to sustain a pregnancy. This is why your doc gives you 50mg to take once a day for 5days. Taking more for too long will damage your endo lining. I strongly advise you to talk with you doc about clomid. If you are talking clomid without a prescription I would say take it during your period. Only take 50mg at night. On one of the CD's mentioned above. I would go to the hospital if you feel anything while taking clomid without a prescription. Good Luck and Baby Dust
