well a week after the m/c i tested negative. but just got a call from my doc and they said it was a new pregnancy but my hcg was at a 125 and she said it was too low to be 4 weeks pregnant unless I'm only 1 week along but i dont think it's possible right now for me to only be a week. I have another blood test on monday to see if its going up but they said that it doesnt look good :( ugh I just wish that week could have a healthy pregnancy I dont know whats wrong with me

Did you ever test negative on a pregnancy test after your miscarriage? I had a miscarriage and ended up getting a D&C (where you go into surgery and they clean you out) and it took 4 weeks for me to stop showing positive on a pregnancy test and than 2 weeks after that I was pregnant again.

I had cramping in early pregnancy and went on to have a normal pregnancy so far, also i have had m/c and they say that you are at your most fertile right after m/c, good luck !!

Cramping is normal. Cramping does not mean you'll miscarry whatsoever so you cannot base anything on cramps alone.

I would think this might be a new pregnancy unless you did not pass all the tissue of the previous pregnancy. Good luck and let us know the result!!!

well the good thing is I got a blood test done right away yesterday! I'm waiting and anticipating the news! trying to think positive but I'm cramping exactly the same as last time and I'm nervous it'll result in another chemical pregnancy. Please pray that we are blessed with a healthy pregnancy my husband and I want it so bad! I will keep everybody updated when I get the news!

I became pregnant again in the same week as my MC. So it is possible, And a week after my MC I had a neg pregnancy test because it was too early to pick up my New pregnancy. So you CAN get pregnant straight away.

its very possible, many woman on here have mentioned that they have gotten pregnant again right after having a miscarriage or chemical pregnancy. Call your doctor and tell him about the positive hpt and see if he will do a blood test to make sure. Let us know!

If you had heavy bleeding after the chemical pregnancy its unlikely that there could still be hormones in your system a month later.  To be sure you should call your doctor and ask for a blood test just to be sure.
