hiatal hernia and getting pregnant?

DH and I have been trying for almost a year in a couple days.  He has had a hernia were guessing for about 3 years.  Do you all think that his hernia has anything to do with us not getting pregnant?  I don't know much about hernia's but I know that we're going to get it fixed in June if nothing else happens.  It would have been fixed long time ago but dh and insurance for some reason doesn't get along.  He either does not sign the papers or does not turn then in on time.  So anyone have suggestions?  We did have a miscarriage in september 06 so I would think that we would be okay....I don't know just a little worried/paranoid.

okay it's called inguinal.   Sorry for keep on posting....just trying to get it right and figure this out!

okay after reading so info it's not a hiatal hernia but a hernia near the groin...don't know what it's called....but it's in his intestines.
