how bad is stress for baby?

Hi i will be 18 in November. i am 5 weeks pregnant and i was always told stress can make you miscarriage. is stress that bad?

Yea my doctor said it depends on what your body is use too. If your a high stresser your body is use to it, but if your a low stresser and you suddenly start stressing a lot its really unhealthy for the baby

Right before i got pregnant my dad passed away and i was really stressed out about school and money.. then when i got pregnant i was under so much stress i didnt know howbi was gona do it. Im naturally a peraon who worries alot but despite all that my baby is healthy.. im 35 weeks

I been stressed out so bad since I found out I was pregnant till now and taking caring of my necio son. My baby still doing good kicking and moving around. Im 17wks 1day now.

I was so stressed at my previous job that I had a miscarriage. You just need to try to stay as stress free for you and your baby .

Not sure about having a miscarriage, but I know it's not good for the baby. :)

Yes, because stress raises you blood pressure. When your blood pressure rises causes your baby's blood pressure to rise which can cause your baby to die from pretty much a heart attack. Causing a miscarriage. We just learned this in one of my nursing classes. As well as my midwife told me it also.
