how long am i supposed to bleed?

I took plan b one step a week ago, and now I have started bleeding, but I just had my period the 5th and I started again on the 12th and I was wondering if this is supposed to happen or what, and if it is, how long will the bleeding last?

Yes, good chance this is breakthough bleeding and there is no good way to predict how long it will last.  If the bleeding is very light, I would suggest you take a pregnancy test 14 days after unprotected sex to rule pregnancy out.

It is hard to say how long the bleeding will last because it is break through bleeding and it is like starting your cycle all over again. If the bleeding lasts longer than your period you might want to think about going to see your doctor just in case =)
