Thanks, i will test in a few days time, AF will be late then - not due until 25/26 and might use a diff test just to see if it makes a difference.  Hope the birthday goes well, i know you already had the party and she looked very cute.  Hope you had a nice time with your sister and get some answers from the doc soon.

Faint lines don't equal miscarriage! I had a dark line with my first DD but that was because I was WAY late for AF (I was a teenager and didn't monitor my fertility---just sort of realized it had been a long time since I had AF). My second DD I tested at 11 or 12 DPO and got the FAINTEST of faint lines and she is having her FIRST BIRTHDAY tomorrow!!!

So don't worry hon. Just because it is faint doesn't mean you'll m/c. If you have a test leftover, test in a couple days and it should be darker as the HCG rises.

Thanks everyone for the thoughts and congrats, i tested again this morning at 4:30 (couldn't hold it any longer) and it was positive again and a bit darker than yesterdays, but still faint.  i am hoping that as it was only 13 hours between each test and that the test i used said to wait 14dpo that maybe it is not very sensitive or that the hcg level had not had a chance to double yet. What do you all think (i would post a pic but am on hols and don't have the tech to do so).  I am just a bit concerned because last time i got preg it was very dark and i had my beautiful little girl, then next time it was faint and i had a mc.  I am hoping it is not faint cause my hcg levels are slow rising.  I guess after a mc you will be concerned until the 2nd tri.  Any thoughts or experiences that will give me comfort.
