i think i forgot to tell you guys...

I had my little girl on the 24th of Feb (in NZ time) at 0625. She weighed 7.10 pounds. She had abit of trouble in the placenta in the last few days before birth soooo she had some meconium which she inhaled so she was in nicu for 24 hours and just finshed antibiotics. Now we are learning to breast feed which I'm finding hard but am having LOTS of support. I had her vaginally but had an epi durual in the end because she was back to back and was turning around but I wasn't progressing past 3cm for about 6 hours it was hell! The episode didn't work in my left hip at all! In the end she started to stress out so the gave me alittle help via vontouse. This was NOT at all my birth plan. I was looking forward to a water birth with my partner and mum but instead I had the hospital as well lol. And I also had pethidine which did nothing!! Her name is Indiana May.
