illness in pregnancy

so i just wonder which mums have been ill whilst pregnant and what is safe to take. im currently coming down with an awful cold and im still working for another month yet. im 8 wk off my D.D and im going to probably collapse. but i can feel my throat is really sore too. any advice ladies?

Vicks vapour rub is about €2/3 ...
yes it definitely works I even used it on my daughter many times.

Also stir a spoon of it into boiled water and breath in put a towel over your head to keep steam in xx

I'm sick with the cold for the second time in my pregnancy. Vicks, tylenol, cough drops, that spray to numb your throat, lots of water & steamy hot showers helped me the first time I'm definitely doing that again!

I'm in this position and have been a few times during this pregnancy..
Paracetamol and lots of water is the best advice. I was taking lemon honey drinks, vit c tablets but my doctors told me what a waste of time that was. Honestly fluids is the best advice :-)

Im in the same position !!! Awful awful acold but I take tylenol cold & flu , a little robatussin & vicks on my feet , chest & nose !! It works wonders :)) hope u get better !! ♥

thank you ladies! need to purchase some vicks its expensive. does it deffinatly work that ? ive heard it before a few times about putting it on your feet :-) thank you xx

Eat popsicles and warm chicken soup for your throat. I've also been taking tylenol for headaches (st last I think it's tylenol. It's cheapo brand) it's safe and it says it can help relieve fevers as well as pain. Hope you feel better soon!

Paracetamol orange juice and vicks vapour rub :)

Put vicks on the soles of your feet and put socks on. Its unbelievable ;)

If you're throats really bad see dr. I'd a streptococcal throat early pregnancy and required antibiotics - so just incase
