inducing labor

is anyone out their who has been induced and how long after being induced did you have your baby? my daughter was induced on a teusday night and had her baby 2 days later thursday 12:40 pm. was that a long time and is that normal?

With my first son they induced because I was 2 weeks late. I was in labor 56 hours. He was fine but a big boy.

I was induced with my son two weeks after his due date, and he took two days to come aswell. It's normal.

With my first it was over 24 hrs.  Second about an hour third about seven hours.

I was just induced on Tuesday at 815am they started the pitocin, noon they broke my water and I had him at 427pm, I was 8 days overdue

Thank you all, I feel relieved now. I thought it was not normal but 56 hours whoa, you are brave and everyone who is induced. Induced labor, I was told is 3x's worse than normal. I am glad my daughter is done with it. She had a healthy 5lb 5oz baby girl. But I was feeling her pain and it's not fun watching your child go through escruciating pain for that long of a period.
