is it viable or not going nuts here!!!

Ok I took a positive preg. test last friday, I had been having some mild cramping and spotting I called my OB and they sent me for a quantitative pregnancy test the levels were a little on the low side so the had me repeat the test monday the levels did not double the way they normally do so I had to take another one today. I do not have a normal 28 day cycle and am almost positive I ovulated a full week after I "should" have. I am trying to figure out if there is some other way to find out if everything is ok or not they have yet to even see me yet they just keep redoing the one test Any Ideas?

For a viable pregnancy hCG levels should really be doubling or more every 36-48 hours. There are some cases where some women's levels just don't rise the same way as others but the pregnancy is still viable. Unfortunately there is nothing you, nor the doctors can do at this point but wait it out and see what your hCG levels do. If by the next test they're still rising, that should be a good sign. It's if they've stopped rising or have fallen, that then that would indicate miscarriage.

If they're not doubling then I'd suggest there may be something just not right. Maybe in time they'll start to double. If not, I hate to say this but expect the worse, but hope for the best. I'll pray for you they double. Gud luck
