I just noticed that my babies big toe nails are growing under his skin? Like its normal but the end grows under the skin where it should go over.. is that normal? Hes 2 weeks old.

How do u cut it when its under the skin?

Ive seen it with kids who bit their fingernails like they bite them too short so the skin just grows in front of it. But ive never seen it on newborn toenails. I would worry too much though it may just be how his toenails grow:) i dont have a pinky toenail on either pinky toe lol so its okay like its a stub of nail on my pinky toe:

My sons do that still and he is 3. You just need to cut them often so they get trained to grow correctly
