It's okay to have a sweet tooth, but you need to be careful about your sugar intake. One sweet thing a day should be fine. Don't overdo it or you'll gain 50 lbs like I did (and I still haven't lost two years later, even with diet and exercise). Be wise.

I've read that if a pregnant woman is craving sugary/sweet things she's carrying a girl and if she's craving salty things -she's carrying a boy.  However - I'd vollow up on what the other post says ab out being hypoglycemic!

Is it that you are actually craving it or just eating it? I have had a huge sugar fix but it turned out that I am hypogycemic so now I eat other things to prevent myself from binge eating the sugar (cottage cheese, peanut butter, and trail mix have helped a lot).
