just counted all the money
That my bf and I have saved up. We already bought a crib and a changing table and the swing. We have 636$ saved I'm so happy we've been putting 100$ aside every pay check now so I can go shopping after the baby shower. My baby shower is august 2nd I'm going shopping the last weekend in august after his last pay check in august so that way we can spend money on our first sons Halloween birthday party. So when I go shopping I'll have about 950$ I'm going to go baby shopping crazy :). Time needs to speed up. Not a question in here I'm just super excited.
Yeah luckily tho my moms buying us diapers and wipes since she wasn't able to throw us a baby shower but in reality we didn't need one. My husband makes good money but it is nice to be able to be stress free if anything were to happen, hopefully not. My son's birthday was July 13th we went all out for him too and every weekend he gets spoiled lol I get jealous ;p haha jp* but it feels good to be able to get our babies what they need. I might be having our baby girl next week =D
@breonte22 yeah I'm happy we decided to do it. With my first I barely had money for anything so everything was hand me downs so its nice to be able to finally be able to afford everything for both our kids. And my baby shower is going to he super small so I don't think I'll be getting a lot.
Wow that's a lot of money. You'll be able to buy all the diapers and everything baby will need for awhile. I'd save more since baby isn't due till October but we always go all out for our 5 year old who will be 6 in October we go Halloween crazy so we want him to get spoiled before he's not an only child anymore.
Lord I'm jealous I shud have done this but instead every paycheck I got to spend like 100 on the baby I'm done buying baby stuff && I received basically everything as gifts for my shower lol
Right there behind you (= we have $2500 saved and we've bought crib, crib set, clothes, car seat, health essentials, and this weekend buying glider chair. It feels good to save and be able to spoil baby girl and our son =D
Yeah. I want to spend it now but I keep holding off so I can buy everything and go through everything. Then my bf wants to set everything up. He doesn't want me buying little by little because he knows how much big shopping trips make me super happy haha.
