just wanna say

I gave birth on the 13th January and now today well for the pass few days my hooha/virgina doesnt feel right it concently throbbing I have sharp pains in my bits I can't sit stand or bend without it been uncomfortable even when I wee feels uncomfortable I feel pressure abit my pelivic area is really bad to I feel like I've got the flu or cold coming on I get hot and cold  2nights ago I got hot and I felt weak and fainty today I felt a little bit dizzy and Ihave hedaches to  blocked nose would you say iI've got an infection or has anyone had this sane thing after giving birth and it was a infection I did phone hospital and I told them you know and they said come in but their was no way if me getting up there so I Phoned my new doctors and they told me to go to a&e I told them I just gave birth I don't feel well and there telling me to come in with my baby because I'm breastfeeding  I went in a warm bath no soap and I got out it didn't feel any better if anything it felt worse I took paracetamol  and hasn't done anything.  Any advice

Babys fine me breastfeeding will protect her and I went to the hospital yesterday and got checked and inside my virgina it is infected I'm glad I went when I did now I'm taking Co-amoxiclav antibotics they also taken a swab aswell I knew i had an infection

lieschenb Why would my community midwive say i can breastfeed her and that it will protect her my breast milk

You pass illnesses over in breastmilk. You provide amtibodies to your baby

My midwife said that me breastfeeding baby it will protect baby from getting ill like my breast milk xx

I would go in. They told you to go in. And if your breastfeeding you could possibly pass something to your baby. Dont quote me on that though because I dont know. Be safe then sorry that you didnt.
