kick counts

Never did them with my first. I was never even told to or knew what they were. To be fair I was only 17 so wasn't sure of much but the doctor never mentioned it either. But this time my midwife just told me I need to be doing them.

So I just downloaded an app typed in kick counter and the app is called kick me it has two little pink feet print.

It was super easy to use and not as confusing as I thought it would be haha. So I'm just letting everyone know who is starting kick counts or doesn't want to write it down yourself. It keeps a log too. Or if you didn't know you were suppose to do them. You usually start at 28 weeks

Yeah I was super confused on how to do it. But my doctor said to at least do it 1-2 times a day when baby is most active just lay down and every time baby kicks put it down and you only have to count to 10 kicks. The baby should kick ten times in 1 hr if baby didn't keep going for the second hour if the baby doesn't kick 10 times in those 2 hours then I should go in. This also confused me because sometimes I don't feel baby for a couple hours but you're just suppose to do it when baby is usually active like after a meal or after something cold to drink or in the morning, etc...
