I know you wish you could have have carried your little one longer. I don't wish for anyone to have to deal with a child being in NICU. I do know what your going thru with your lil one being in NICU cuz my soon to be 8 year old son was there for 3 weeks after I had him. And I did carry him til 40 weeks. If I wasn't high risk, I would gladly carry this one as long as I have to. But since I'm high risk and he is already big, my doc doesn't want me going past my due date. It was my doctor's choice to induce me within the next 2 weeks if I don't deliver on my own by the time I go in for my appointment on Wednesday. So yes, I am trying to do what I can to put myself into labor cuz I would rather not be induced.
I wish i could have gone to 38 weeks....i wish i could have made it to 33 weeks. If you are still pregnant then there is a reason, baby isn't ready. Succk it up. I know its not comfortable, and no fun, but there are a lot of women like myself who would gladly still have our babies still in us instead of in the NICU.
I will be 38 tomorrow, feel the same, just waiting walking and bouncing in the ball. SO TIRED!
Oh man, I wish I have atleast 1 labor sign like yous but unfortunately I dont. It feels like im on my second trimester. I have 3 days left till due date. I tried everything already and nothing. I'm a ftm. All I'm experiencing is bh but nothing consistent. Arg. I am so ready to pop this bad boy out but he is too comfortable inside me. I feel your pain and wanting to let you know that you're not alone.
Hopefully we both go soon. Even though this is my 4th child, im dealing with stuff that i never did with my others like the braxton hicks, false preterm labor, and even pelvic pressure. I never had any problems with my other pregnancies other than morning sickness. With this one, i am soo uncomfortable its not funny. Hopefully i deliver naturally before wednesday cuz i really dont wana be induced.
were you experiencing any contractions? With my 1st at 38wks I was 5cm dilated and I had constant contractions for a couple hours and I fell asleep once they eased up, then they didn't start back up until 40wks exactly.
my first son I was 38+3 and was 4cm dilated and when I went to l&d they told me to take a warm bath, it relaxes your body but also helps speed up your dilation.. the next day I went into my doctors appointment and was dilated 7cm and 100% effaced and had my little boy Tuesday morning..
I was 50% effaced as well but my cervix was still posterior, so im hoping that when I go to the dr on tues ive progressed more ive been having more contractions but they wont stay, I know our babies will be here soon but the waiting game is so difficult. With my 1st I remember being in denial when I actually did go in labor on my due date because it felt it was never gonna happen lol
I know how u both feel. I'll be 38wks tomorrow. Last wednesday i was 2cm dilated and 50% thinned. Im doing what i can to put myself into labor cuz my doc told me if i dont deliver by wednesday then we will set up an induction date
I feel your pain the same with me, im 38wks today 2cm dilated so far and it seems like my son is never coming, im only having sex, walking, nipple stimulation and bouncing on my exercise ball but Ive heard of others doing things like raspberry leaf tea, eating fresh pineapple, acupuncture pressure points, evening primrose, caster oil, just to name a few. How far are you?
