When i went to get a massage. She put a pillow under my right side so i could lay on my back but it kept me at an angle to keep the blood flowing. I feel most comfortable in my back, so it was nice finding a way that i could. Maybe you could try it?(:

When you lay in your back, the weight of your uterus is pressing down on two major blood vessels in your back. I was told that it's dangerous because of the vessels and it could cause little to no blood flow and it could be fatal for you and baby, so I avoid laying in my back just to be safe.

No, it puts pressure on the chord and can cut off oxygen supply to your baby

No it won't. When u go to dr ur on ur back when ur in labor ur on ur back. Its supposed to jus deal with the oxygen supply that goes to u and ur baby. I kno if I wake up on my back it does seem a lil harder to breath

It really shouldn't though.. Since the amniotic fluid plays a role for the cord just so it won't wrap or get squished by the baby
