i went to my 5 month scan yesterday and i was told that i had low lying placenta but will need another scan and that i could have heavy bleeding later on and after pregnancy plus i might need a c section.
but im scared of needles
and i was wondering if the placenta will sort itself out later on pregnancy
It is possible for the placenta to work itself out. I'm sure your doctor will monitor that. But I have known a couple of people that had to have c-sections for this reason. One of them had their placenta erupt which is not a good thing, thus the c-section. Sometimes during a scan, it can look like the placenta is low if you have a full bladder-even semi full. Did they have you empty your bladder during the scan to make sure this wasn't the problem??
