lunch meat?

I love eating sandwiches with lunch meat especially cousins subs and subway but I know pregnant women aren't suppose to eat lunch meat but does anyone else eat it??? I'm 22 weeks and I don't want to hurt my baby by eating the wrong thing

Read this website and it will give u all the information u need on eating lunchmeat that is NOT heated up before consumption.. Good luck :)

You don't have to heat it up. Enjoy the sandwhiches! It's just a precaution.

I've always heard to heat up the meat before eating so it kills off any bacteria. Subway was one of the few things I could ttolerate sometimes during my first trimester. I would always tell them to microwave the meat a little before toasting it or putting it on the sandwich. I still eat it though! :)

Your supposed to stay away from un cured meats like ham, salami, pepperoni. If its cooked it should be ok. I eat turkey sandwiches sometimes or I get my sandwiches toasted.

With my first child i lived off of subway lol and she turned out fine. Id say go for it. They say not to because of the chance of bacteria.

I eat it once a day atleast...did with my first one too and hes fine...enjoy
