maternity clothes

Question

I live in the UK and wondered if anyone knows anywhere that sells nice maternity clothes? everything i see is really frumpy or just not very nice! why do shops seem to think that as soon as you get pregnant you lose all fashion sense and wear any old thing! i did buy some nice jeans but can't seem to find tops! anyone know anywhere? Xx

Try Peacocks. I got a load of really nice stuff during their sale. Just a shame they might close down soon as they are the only place I have found that sells nice maternity clothes which aren't overpriced!

I got a nice top form peacocks. I bought loads of stuff from littlewoods online, they do coast maternity stuff and its really nice, not cheap though but they have some good stuff. I would recommend my old friend google!!! Search online or look on ebay if you dont mind second hand stuff.

I'm from the uk and got tons of cute maternity tops online from newlook :) I also have a pair of their maternity jeans, not quite so cute.

thanks ladies, i agree they can be pricey and i dont know why because they are never that nice! ill have a nosey online and see if i can find anything! its times like these i wish i knew her from the sound of music! ha ha get her to make me some, obviously not out of curtains though! thanks again ladies Xx

Your better off looking at the shops online, they have a wider range than they have in the shops. They're still not great though. With tops I tend to just get bigger sizes in normal clothes. It's not ideal but at least they aren't as frumpy looking.

I don't.live in the UK but I went shopping yesterday and what a disappointment it was. Only a few places sell maternity clothes and they are so pricey.
