My boyfriend and I really want this to be a positive pregnancy and I would feel so crushed if I were the reason for the baby to not be 100% healthy and I mean we weren't even trying this time

Totally understandable. Talk to your doctor about switching meds to a "safer" one during pregnancy. That way you won't have withdrawls or risk of hurting the baby or yourself.

Don't stop your medication until you have spoken with your doctor. The zoloft is a category C medication. But you want to make sure that if you are pregnant, you don't want your PTSD to get worse. Make sure you take a pregnanct test and contact your doctor as soon as possible if you are pregnant. I had to take klonopin while I was pregnant and it made me really nervous because it's a class D medication. But I was taking it for panick attacks. Luckily I was able to wean myself off to only once a week, but still, you never know how it will affect your child until they are born. I hope you are able to get the answers you are looking for. And good luck.
