medication in pregnancy

Hi  I am  on Seroquel and Effexor because I suffer from borderline personality disorder and these meds are keeping me very well. However I want to become pregnant. Is anybody else out there on prescription meds and pregnant? I am terribly worried as every psychiatrist has a different opinion on the subject. Please help.

It might help to have a prenatal appointment with your gyno . . . they will tell you what they do and do not want you on.  Sometimes, doctors choose to keep clients on meds if there is a risk of suicide or psychosis . . . it depends on how severe you symptoms are.  Talk to the ob/gyn about it . . . it is important to have a game plan before you conceive.

I am 15 weeks pregnant and I have bipoler disorder. They took me off all meds when I got married and decided I wanted to have babies. I got pregnant less than a month from when I got taken off. I was also not allowed to take the meds now that I am preggo.
