mem. stripped didn't hurt?

40 weeks on sunday. Today I got my membranes stripped and I thought its supposed to hurt. It was just a little uncomfy. I'm not having any spotting, haven't lost my mucus plug yet and only 1 cen dialated but all the way soft. I'm having a little bit of cramps but not to bad. So my question is, has any one got there membranes stripped and it didn't hurt or anything but still went into labor the next couple days?

Update: I lost my mucus plug! Hopefully a good sign. (:

I had mine done and then had sex that night and went into labor early the next morning.  It wasn't painful at all

I had mine done on Monday && I didn't think it hurt either . I thought it felt like a normal cervical check but I didn't bleed at all afterwards but I had major cramping && contractions && I lost pieces of my plug . Still no baby && I was 3cm dilated && 60% effaced . Good luck to you !

MEEEE!! I wasnt even dilated, got my membranes sweeped and 8hrs later started contracting and went into labor and delivery to have my baby :) good luck
